Installation Guide
DAIMIA Connector License Server
To use DAIMIA Connector, a valid License Server must be set up. The License Server manages software licenses for DAIMIA Connector and ensures that the appropriate number of users can access the system simultaneously. Below are the steps for configuring the License Server:
1. Install the License Server:
- The License Server is installed by the administrator on a designated server machine. It will be set up as a floating license server, allowing all client machines to connect to it.
- License File: DAIMIA will provide a license file (e.g., for a 1-year, 5-user license) that the License Server will use to manage the number of concurrent users.
2. Configure License Per Client:
- During installation, you can optionally provide a License Server address. This step is not mandatory and can be skipped if preferred.
- Users can update or test the License Server address later via the login menu configuration options.
Additional Notes:
- Floating License: If you are using floating licenses, ensure the License Server is properly configured to serve multiple users.
- License Expiry: Keep tracking the license expiration dates. Contact DAIMIA support for license renewal instructions.
