Right Click

In DAIMIA Connector, right-clicking in different areas (on a component or in the empty space of the viewer) brings up two distinct context menus. When you right-click on a component, the following options are available:

Right Click on a Component
  1. Info: Displays summary information about the component, including the part number, part name, state, and, if available, any associated parts or versions.
  2. Isolate: Isolates the selected component, hiding all other components in the model to provide a clearer view.
  3. Hide: Hides all components except for the selected one, simplifying the view.
  4. Hide All Other: Hides all components in the model, leaving only the selected component visible.
  5. Focus: Focuses the view on the selected component, ensuring it is centrally displayed for better inspection.
  6. Align to Face: Aligns the selected component to a specific face for improved orientation or perspective.
  7. Transform: Opens transformation options for manipulating the component, such as moving, rotating, or scaling.
  8. Camera: Adjusts the camera angle to focus on the selected component.
  9. Open In: Opens the component in the associated modules such as Properties, Product Structre, Viewer, PLM.
  10. Fit All: Adjusts the view to fit the entire model, providing an overview of all components within the viewer.
  11. Reset View: Resets the view to its default state, undoing any changes in orientation or zoom level.
  12. Display All: Restores visibility for all previously hidden components, returning the model to its full display. These right-click options provide powerful tools for interacting with and manipulating the 3D model in DAIMIA Connector.

When you right-click in an empty area of the DAIMIA Connector viewer, the following context menu options are available:

  1. Camera: Allows you to change the camera view. The options include:
    • Perspective: Switches to a perspective view, where objects further away appear smaller.
    • Isometric: Switches to an isometric view, where all angles are evenly proportioned, without perspective distortion.
    • X - Right, -X - Left, Y - Top, -Y - Bottom, Z - Front, -Z - Back: Provides predefined camera views along the X, Y, and Z axes, and their opposite directions (e.g., +X, -X).
  2. Fit All: Adjusts the view to fit all components in the model, ensuring everything is visible within the screen.
  3. Reset View: Resets the camera view to its default state, clearing any previous changes in orientation or zoom level.
  4. Display All: Restores visibility for all hidden components, bringing back any previously hidden parts or assemblies to the viewer. These options allow for flexible navigation and viewing of the 3D model, ensuring a user-friendly experience when interacting with the model in the DAIMIA Connector.
